Publisher's Description:

The evaluation version of this suite of databases does not include the "Meds" tinyByte. Registration of this shareware will permit download of the "Meds" tinyByte. Patient Census and its accessory tinyBytes were partly written to facilitate presenting ICU patients on rounds. Consequently most of the accessory tinyBytes are categorized by organ system: Neuro, Cardiopulmonary, GI, FEN/Renal, Hem/ID. Patient Census has an extensive set of fields for Ins and Outs such as TPN, tube feeds, CSF, and customized drains. There are multiple fields for recording the dates that epidurals, chest tubes, and other devices were placed, and Patient Census automatically calculates the length of time these devices have been in the patient. Other features of Patient Census include fields for spine clearance, a built-in allergy checker, a built-in GCS calculator, freehand sketch fields for imaging studies, extensive pop-up help fields, and fields for recording serum levels of immunosuppressive agents such as cyclosporine, tacrolimus, and sirolimus. The tinyBytes that comprise the Patient Census suite are: Patient Census, Neuro, Cardiopulmonary, GI, FEN/Renal, Hem/ID, Meds, Scut, Events/Notes, and Floor Vitals. Patient Census is used to create central patient records, and all records in the other tinyBytes are each linked to one patient record.
