1. This application was written to keep a formal, but simplified database in a relational format of patients treated and seen during a surgical practice. Limitations of the application are solely those of HanDBase. Forethought has been taken to facilitate movement between records in a logical fashion on the Palm Pilot. 2. A twenty-nine page tutorial-documentation manuscript is included. For non HanDBase users a free trial version of the HanDBase program with documentation is included. 3. The application is offered as a template and may be modified in any fashion by the purchaser. Full knowledge of HanDBase is recommended. 4. The application was written to be used in a Neurosurgical practice, therefore it is strongly geared as a template for surgeons. However, it can be modified in any fashion for use with any medical practice. At least, the program is a glorified tutorial for users unfamiliar with the use of linked databases in HanDBase.
